Montuïri: partridge fair

Montuïri is celebrating next Sunday, December 7, the "Fira de sa perdiu", that has been held for the past 25 years. All day the Plaza Mayor and nearby streets will be full of all kinds of stalls with traditional food, artisan, ecological and solidarity craftwares.

There will also be varied activities such as autochthonous animal shows, exhibitions of products of agriculture and fishing, artisan and industrial, amongst others. But the most important activity of the Fair is the traditional partridge contest, organized by the Societat de Caçadors Locals and the Associació de Caçadors de Perdius, an event that awakens great expectations amongst the inhabitants of Montuïri and all the visitors who come, year after year, to the Fair.
