Iker Tolosa with "Palma de Noche" wins the Premio Web 2000

Iker Tolosa, a computer student at the UIB, has won the Web 2000 Prize with the web "Palma de Noche", having obtained 21% of the votes in the poll.

The second winner, with 20% of the votes, is the association "lavila.org" from Santa Margalida with the "La Vila".

Third is 9D-La Novena Dimensió, that obtained 13% of the votes, and fourth is "ei! vine de festa", with 12% of the votes.

Webverd by Gabriel Perelló, with 8%, and Música Folk de Mallorca by Pep Toni Rubio, with 6% occupy the fifth and sixth place respectively.

The results can be consulted and the 15 participating webs can be visited via the special Web 2000 Prize.

In view of the success of the participation, MallorcaWeb has decided to extend the Prize to the six first classified webs:

1.- Palma de Noche: 50.000 pesetas + free hosting with own domain.
2.- La Vila: 10.000 pesetas + free hosting with own domain.
3.- 9D-La Novena Dimensió: 10.000 pesetas + free hosting with own domain.
4.- ei! vine de festa: 10.000 pesetas + free hosting with own domain.
5.- Webverd: 10.000 pesetas + free hosting with own domain.
6.- Música Folk de Mallorca: 10.000 pesetas + free hosting with own domain.

Soon MallorcaWeb will organise a barbecue (live) with all the contestants and other cybernauts who have participated in the debate and the chat about Premio Web 2000.
