The celebrations at sa Pobla start today, Tuesday, with the town cry "Veu sagrada i veu profana a la revetlla de Sant Antoni", (Sacred and profane voice of Sant Antoni) by the writer Alexandre Ballester i Moragues, official town historian, that will take place at 8.30 p.m. in the Town Hall; the programme for the festivities lasts until January 17 with a wide range of artistic, cultural, musical, sporting, traditional and religious events.

Worth mentioning, besides the witching night of January 16, is the collection of fire wood from the property of sa Llebre for the bonfires of the Parish and the Town Hall, that is held following an ancient tradition, the same day in the morning. As well, on the 17th, the day of Sant Antoni, in the morning there will be a street parade and dances; in the afternoon as from 3.30 p.m. there will be the traditional animal blessing and float parade.
