The Main Floor at the Casal Solleric in Palma is holding an anthological
exhibition "Volem l'impossible", dedicated to the pictorial work
by Antoni Miró.
The exhibition, that can be visited throughout April and May, presents
a complete vision of the artist's career within social realism.
Antoni Miró (Alcoi, 1944) now lives and works in Mas Sopalmo.
In January 1965 he held his first individual exhibition and founded the
Grupo Alcoiart, and in 1975 the "Gruppo Denunzia" in Brescia (Italy). His
work is represented in numerous museums and collections all over the world
and he has an extensive bibliography that studies his work.
OTHER EXHIBITIONS AT THE CASAL SOLLERIC
ARS BREVIS is an exhibition by the Mallorcan artist, Joan
Ramis "Sineu", dedicated to the Ars Brevis of the philosopher and writer,
Ramon Llull. The artist presents 22 paintings representative of the
his alphabet inspired by Llull's work. Until April 28.
CÒMIC, 3 MIRADES is an installation dedicated to the world
of the comic, that presents a trip round the works of Victor Mora, script
writer of the mythical Capitan Trueno, and the artists: Das Pastoras and
the Majorcan, Bartomeu Seguí. The exhibition is part of the "Setmanes
del Còmic de Mallorca. Còmic Nostrum", organised by the Associació
d'Amics i Víctimes del Còmic, initiated with the opening
of the exhibition by Dave McKean at the Sala de Paper in the Sa Nostra
Cultural Centre. Until Aril 28.
ADENTROS is an installation by Jesús Cánovas at
the so called Espai Quatre. It can be visited until April 8.
EXHIBITION OF THE SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHIC MARATHON. Until April 8,
, in the entrance hall patio.
PANIC by Joan Font. From April 10 to May 13 in the Espai Quatre.
