Music at the Caixa Foundation, April 2001

The Music Service of the Caixa Foundation has organised for April three concerts. Monday April 2, Fitzwilliam String Quartet at the Sant Francesc Basilica in Palma. The other two concerts programmed will be held as is usual at the Foundation in Plaza Weyler 3 in Palma. April 24 is the turn of the pianist, Abdel Rahman and 27 a Flamenco concert with Arcangel and Paco Jarana.

FITZWILLIAM STRING QUARTET (Holy Week Concert)
"Las siete últimas palabras de Cristo en la Cruz" by F.J. Haydn.
Monday, April 2 at 9 p.m. Basílica de Sant Francesc de Palma.

ABDEL RAHMAN EL BACHA (Instrumental Music)
The Libanese pianist will perform the Sonata D 960 by F. Schubert and 13 preludes op 32 by Rachmaninoff.
Tuesday, April 24 at 8 p.m. Fundació "la Caixa".

ARCÁNGEL (Music of the World)
Flamenco concert. Arcángel singer, Paco Jarana, guitar.
Friday, April 27 at 8 p.m.Fundació "la Caixa".
