Web Prize 2001 for Fotonatura

The jury of the "Web Prize 2001", made up of six authors of the webs that were classified in the first six positions of "Web Prize 2000", by the graphic designer Antonio Fernández Coca and by the webmaster of MallorcaWeb, Elena Vera, has decided by majority vote to award the Web Prize 2001 to the author of Fotonatura, Miquel Àngel Dora, for the quality of design and contents of the web.

The prize that Miquel Àngel Dora will receive, for the web Fotonatura, consists in the purchase of his own domain for his web, the lodging for life on MallorcaWeb and 50,000 pesetas.

This year a total of 26 webs have participated in the contest, practically double those who participated last year in the first edition of the Prize. Also the debate online held in the last 15 days has obtained a great participation, both in the poll and in the opinion book.

MallorcaWeb announces as a novelty, that the edition of Web Prize 2002 will be extended to all the Balearics, to that the webs from Menorca, Eivissa and Formentera will also be able to participate. Meanwhile, they thank and congratulate the authors of all the competing webs, for their participation in the Web Prize 2001.
