The Galeria Bennàssar in Pollença is holding until April
25 the watercolour exhibition "El olor de las higueras" by the artist,
José Luis González, known artistically as Tudanca, the name
of a town in Cantabria where he was born in 1944.
Tudanca, who has lived on Mallorca for many years, exhibited for the
first time in 1975 in a collective exhibition at La Llotja in Palma and
in 1978 held his first individual exhibition at the Galeria Byblos in Palma.
Since then, the artist has held numerous individual exhibition on Mallorca,
and in other places such as Madrid, Santander, Málaga, Terrassa,
Mataró and Hamburg; and he has also participated in numerous collective
shows on the Island and in different cities such as Barcelona, Pamplona,
Córdoba, Alacant, Amsterdam, Zurich and Bolzano, amongst others.
He has won several prizes, and his work is to be found in many museums
and private collections
