Concerts by Jaume Compte in Alcúdia and Porreres

The group Jaume Compte Quintet, led by the guitarist and composer Jaume Compte, will offer two concerts this weekend. On Friday, May 31, at 10 p.m., he will perform at the Auditori d'Alcudia and on Saturday, June 1, at 10 p.m., at the Auditori Municipal de Porreres.

The concert will include the songs from his latest record: "Com a Pous de Mar" (Blau, 2001), a musical trip round the Mediterranean with influences from folk and improvised jazz.

As well as Jaume Compte (acoustic guitar), the Quintet also includes Fernando Rubin (Spanish guitar), Jan Kobrzinowski (Contrabass), Bernat Cabot (violin) and Andrés Franco (percussion).

Tickets: 10 € per concert.
