The entrance patio of the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre is holding until
June 20 the exhibition "Arquitectures Perdudes" by the Estudi MBM, comprised
of the architects Josep Martorell, Oriol Bohigas and David Mackay.
The exhibition, organised by the
Sa
Nostra foundation, together with the General Direction of Architecture
and Homes of the
Govern de les Illes Balears
and the
Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos
de las Illes Balears, includes architectural projects carried out by
the
Estudi MBM over the last
50 years that for different reasons were not carried out.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition held yesterday, May 16, was attended
by the architects, Josep Martorell and Oriol Bohigas, and the latter gave
the opening speech. As a complementary event to the exhibition
on June 13 at 8 p.m. there will be a round table "The fiiasco of architecture"
with, amongst others, Oriol Bohigas and Manuel Solà-Morales, and
a speech by Vicens Mulet "The lost architecture of Mallorca".

de Arquitectos de las Illes Balears. As a complementary activity for
the exhibition there will be a cycle of conferences by Xavier Monteys (May
23 at 7 p.m.), Josep Quetglas (June 6 at 8 p.m.) and Tim J. Benton (June
20 at 8 p.m.).
