The opera "Carmen" in the patio of the Misericòrdia

The renewed patio of the Cultural Centre of La Misericòrdia will be the scene on June 27 and 29, at 9.30 h, of Bizet's opera "Carmen", produced by the Fundació Teatre Principal within the "XVI Temporada d'Òpera".

The production has musical direction by Renato Palumbo, stage direction by Rafel Duran and it is performed by the mezzo-soprano Carolyn Sebron representing Carmen, the tenor Warren Mok (Don José), the baritone Jorge Lagunes (Escamillo), the soprano Sandra Galiano (Micaëla), the tenor Luca Casalin (Remendado), the baritone Alfredo García (Dancaire), the soprano Isabel Rosselló (Frasquita), the mezzo-soprano Marisa Roca (Mercedes),the bass Ilia Popov (Zúñiga) and the baritone Manuel Esteve (Morales).
