Jaume Matas declared president of the Balearic Government

Jaume Matas declared president of the Balearic Government
Jaume Matas was declared the president of the Govern of the Balearics  with the votes in favour of the 30 MPs of the Partit Popular and the 3 of Unió Mallorquina.  25 of the 26 MPs of the left parties voted against, due to the absence of the MP, Maria Antònia Vadell.    Once the debate has finished in the Balearic Parliament, Jaume Matas will take official possession of his post today, Friday, in a ceremony at the Consolat de Mar in Palma.  Presumably next Monday the President will announce the names of the consellers, or local ministers, who will form his new cabinet.
