Sculptures by Pedro Flores in the Torre de ses Puntes
La Torre de ses Puntes in Manacor is housing until November 9 an exhibition by the sculptor, Pedro Flores, made up of a selection of his most representative works carried out since 1989 until the present day. Born in Jódar (Jaén) in 1961, Pedro Flores has lived on Mallorca since he was 12 and started his artistic itinerary at the beginning of the eighties. In 1994 he held his first individual show in Sa Pleta Freda in Son Servera and between 1995 and 1999 carried out a series of large sized sculptures. Although he has worked with different materials, the majority of his works combine natural stone and iron.

The exhibition, that was seen last Spring in the Auditòrium Sa Màniga in Cala Millor, is devised by Pere Josep Santandreu and Joan Carles Gomis and is sponsored by the Consell de Mallorca, Sa Nostra and the Manacor Town Council.

The entrance is free and visiting times are from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. every day.
