9th "Premi Web" awards
Everyone can propose webs, vote and give an opinion.
The General Direction of Linguistic Policy of the Balearic Government organizes the ninth edition of the "Premi Web" (web awards) with BalearWeb.
As a novelty, everyone can propose webs, vote and give an opinion. And the preselection of the finalists will be carried out based on the users' participation. The web of Premi Web 2010 facilitates the participation by anyone who is interested, be it as a contestant or as person who wishes to give suggestions, to vote or to make an opinion. In this way many more people may be involved in the contest, not just the contestants and the organizers.
The aim is to increase, and make more visible, the digital contents in Catalan relating to the Balearic Islands, with a vanguard approach which will favour the prestige of the language.In this respect it must be pointed out that Premi Web 2010, as well as promoting the participation of users from the Contest Web Page, it also invites participation in social networks. Therefore, as well as having a debate forum available, as in previous editions, this ninth edition has a Blog on BalearWeb, a profile on Facebook, a profile on Twitter, an archive of links on Delicious, a channel on Youtube and an archive of photos on Flickr.
The participation by users on the contest web is very easy and their comments and proposals are published immediately. There is no excuse for not giving a grain of salt in the promotion of Catalan on Internet.
