The Fonts Ufanes, situated in the Gabellí Petit property, in Campanet, comprise the most extraordinary hydrogeological phenomena on Mallorca. This is a vauclusian spring that appears intermittently, produced by the flooding of the powerful, unforeseen, spreading water source due to an accumulation of enough rainfall in the Puig Tomir area. This water supply ends up in the stream Sant Miquel that crosses the plain of Sa Pobla until it enters the marsh area of s'Albufera.

Since 2001, the Fonts Ufanes are classified as a protected natural area, in the category of Natural Monument. More over the Gabellí Petit property has one of the best conserved oak woods on Mallorca. To protect this singular natural area, in 2005, the Ministry of Environment of the Balearic Government bought the property.

To visit the Fonts Ufanes you must reach the old San Miquel chapel, situated on the outskirts of Campanet, and then follow the 15 minute foot path that leads to the springs.

Moreover, also in Campanet, some interesting caves can be visited. These are the Caves of Campanet, discovered in 1945. The caves have a medium deepness of 50 metres, an extension of 3,200 square metres and a length of 4,000 metres.
