On November 10, Santa Eugènia will hold the second "Trobada
de Músics per la Llengua", a day of concerts that will have
the participation of 65 groups and soloist from the Balearic Islands, all
committed to the Catalan language.
Well known Artists, such as Tomeu Penya,
Ocults,
Fora
des Sembrat, Joan Bibiloni,
Maria
del Mar Bonet,
Música
Nostra,
Herbes Dolces,
Nou
Romancer, Aires Formenterencs, Uc,
Biel
Majoral,
Cucorba,
Antònia Font and many others, will perform toguether with
young groups, including, amongst others,
Amb
una Mica de Sort,
Mal
Vici,
Família
López,
Espirafoc,
Pedregats,
Syphosis,
Límit,
etc.
The "II Trobada" will also hold a Catalan record fair, where the most
outstanding record labels of Catalan music will be present.
The programme will start at 10 a.m. with children's music, followed
by a series of performances by folk groups. At 5 p.m. the singer songwriters
will perform and in the end, the pop rock bands, until 4 a.m.
There will also be a camping and a barbecue area.
