The Bennàssar art gallery in Pollença is holding during
November and December an exhibition by the Mallorcan sculptor Toni Mandilego.
The pendulums and the lighthouses are some of the motives that Toni
Mandilego uses to inspire his creativity. The artists creates his sculptures
with warm materials such as wood, iron o stone. According to Santiago Fabré
de Balanzo "in his works there is harmony: the quality to relate and attach
divers elements and even antagonistic to create beauty. And the viewer,
that is all of us, can be part of this harmony, of this beauty and thus
enrich ourselves with its mystery."
Toni Mandilego intervenes in all the creative process, constructing
himself the pieces, which are all different and unrepeatable.
