Support the America's Cup via Internet or SMS

With a view to collecting support signatures for the Palma candidature to hold the competition America's Cup 2007, promoted by the Real Club Náutico de Palma, the campaign "Acepto el desafío" has been launched. Thousands of support signatures have been collected, basically in the Palma airport and in the several commercial centres in Palma. Now the campaign has a web where you can sign in. The new web includes vast information about the Palma candidature and also offers the possibility to support the campaign via SMS.

The web has only a Spanish version. According to the promoters of the campaign, the reason is the "lack of time, as the period for collecting firms ends on July 31", because the dossier with the signatures showing the citizen support to the candidature has to be sent to the organisers in Geneva on this date.
