Summer Serenades in the Bellver Castle

The Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos will close the festival.

The patio of the Bellver Castle will house again the International Music Festival "Serenates d'Estiu", organized by the Palma Jeunesses Musicales, and sponsored by the City Council. This year The festival opens on Tuesday, August 3, at 10 p.m., with a concert by the Romanian pianist Mihaela Ursuleasa. On August 10, Tuesday, at 9 p.m., it will be the turn of the violinist Ara Malikian who will offer a concert for children. On August 16, Monday, at 10 p.m, five players from the New York Philharmonic will perform. And the Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos, accompanied by the pianist Enrico Pace, will close the festival, on August 17, Tuesday, at 10 pm.
