New Records

On November 5, at at 9 p.m., the musical group Pla Forana will present their new record "Arrels Noves" at the Municipal Auditorium of Porreres. Pla Forana is a very young group that guarantees the continuity of the traditional music with new forms and their own compositions. The record, edited by Produccions BLAU, has the collaboration by Miquela (Música Nostra) and the artistic production by Toni Pastor.

Continuing with the presentations, on November 12, at 12.00h Xaloc Música will present their new CD, "Mihrayan", at Ses Voltes, Palma. Pilar Reiona's group started in 1983 and has carried out the great task of recovering and adapting popular music. Now it is presenting, in this their fifth work edited by Produccions BLAU, a careful production with fourteen of their own songs and a popular one, the Bolero de Ciutadella.

Other new records recorded by Produccions BLAU are "Nightlife" by the The Blues Devils band, one of the best blues groups in Spain; "No tot és desar somnis", the first record by a group called Espirals d'Embulls, who have the support of of the Cultural Association Produccions de Ferro; "Roda món i torna al Born", the second work by Cap on'nam, who invite us to go along a melodious and geographic route of the planet; "Cançons tradicionals" by Joan Pons, a superproduction that has the participation of Josep Carreras, Maria del Mar Bonet, Lluís Llach and Biel Majoral, among others; and finally "Fasolera de tribunas" by Germán Burgos, better known as the goal keeper of Real Mallorca and the Argentine selection teams.
