Buffon's present "Teledeum" at the Teatre Municipal de Palma

The Palma Municipal Theatre will hold this coming weekend the presentation of the play, "Teledeum" by Albert Boadella, by the theatrical group Buffon's. The production, by Teatre Educatius SL, directed by Gori Artieda, is a play about a televised ecumenical mass with representatives of different religions. It is one of the flagships of Els Joglars, premiered in 1983 in Alicante, with an unfortunate and controversial history on their backs, due to the postFranco Spain at the time.

The young Mallorcan group, Buffon's, recover faithfully the play from Els Joglars, showing in a humorous way the conflicts that exist within people because of their ridiculous human condition.

Since December 2000, Buffon's have presented the play on different stages on the Island, including Palma, Santa Eugènia, Binissalem, Manacor... The production returns to Palma now with only three performances: Friday November 30 and Saturday December 1, at 9 p.m.; and Sunday 2 at 7 p.m.
