Teatre Cafè Sa Botiga de Buffon's
New scenic area in Palma.
Sa Botiga de Buffon's is a new Café Theatre created by the Buffon's company. The premises, situated in the calle Vall d'Argent 29 in Palma, very near the Plaza Madrid, opened last December.
Buffon's defines this scenic area as a place where "to leave daily problems for a few hours and enjoy the theatre, after enjoying a tasty meal". The gastronomic choice is a list of 13 varieties of "pa amb oli" (typical Majorcan bread and oil), Soller ice-creams and other deserts. As for drinks, there is an important list of juices and infusions, amongst others.
The present programme of Sa Botiga de Buffon's includes the work "Buffet Lliure", an improvised show by the company ImproBand (Thursdays 11, 18 and 25); "TV or not TV", a theatrical clown show without words by the company Té a tres (Wednesdays 10, 17, 24 and 31); "Misterio Bufo", a monologue with the script and performance by Gori Artieda, of the company Buffon's (Thursday 4 and Tuesdays 9, 16, 23 and 30) and "Provactores", a combination of sketches by the same Buffon's company (Fridays 5, 12, 19 and 26, and Saturdays 6, 13, 20 and 27).
