Every year, on Good Friday, at 12 noon, the steps of the Palma Cathedral are the scene of the theatrical performance of the Via Crucis by Llorenç Moyà (Binissalem, 1916-Palma, 1981). The play, performed by the group Taula Rodona Teatre under the direction of Bernat Pujol, is well-known for the quality of the verses by the author, the austerity of the scenery and the proximity between actors and audience.
This event, which has been held since 1985 under the sponsorship of the Town Council, has become part of the Palma traditional events, together with the processions and other religious events, that take place during the Easter holidays. p>
In the event of rain the performance is held in the Church of Sant Felip Neri.
