Dayna Kurtz and Josh Rouse in "Waiting for Waits"

Concerts in Palma, Muro, Sa Pobla and Palmanova.

After the success of the previous editions, on July 20, 24, 27 and 29, 2004, the fourth cycle of acoustic concerts "Waiting for Waits" will be held, organised by Tomeu Gomila with view to paying tribute to the Californian artist, Tom Waits, musician and filmmaker with a strong personality who has always been identified with the darkest and underprivileged areas of society.

This fourth edition of "Waiting for Waits" will have the important presence of Dayna Kurtz, who will perform on July 24 in the Cloister of Sant Francesc in Muro, and Josh Rouse, who will give a concert on July 29 in Sa Congregació in Sa Pobla. Coinciding with the beginning of the festival, S'Altra Web has published a interesting interview with Dayna Kurtz by Joan Andreu Juan Torrens.

The programme for this year is completed with performances by Carter Wood + Songdog, on July 20 in the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma, and by Kelly Joe Phelps, on Tuesday, July 27, in the Sala Palmanova.
